The 13 Curses Book Review

A little while ago I read The 13 Curses and I decided to write a book review for it. So, here it is:
In the Book The 13 Curses Red's brother is stolen by fairies and she vows to get him back. She makes a bargain with the Fairy Court. She must find the 13 treasures and bring them back in exchange for her brother. But she soon discovers that each treasure is cursed. Can Red find all the treasures in time?
The 13 Cures is a spine tingling, heart stopping adventure novel and a true page turner.
I would recommend this amazing book to a girl about 10 and up depending on reading level.
I thought this book rocked and you should totally read it.
That's all for now
Sincerely,
SJ <3

Hunger Games Song!!!

Just before I read the Hunger Games I discovered the Hunger Games song by Brittani Louis Taylor. When I sang the song to the kids in my group, they wanted to know if it was actually in the movie. It is not. Two of them said it's NOT the Hunger Game song if it's not in the movie, so right now it's the "Hunger Games song that's not in the movie so it's not the the hunger games song, it's the not hunger games song"
Yep. That's the title.
Hope you enjoy!
Until next time

Hunger Games: Book .Vs. Movie!

On Friday I saw the Hunger Games {Go Peeta!} and I decided to write a blog about which I think is better, the book or the movie.
First: The Book
The Hunger games book was an awesome read and I literally could not put it down! I enjoyed understanding what was happening to Katniss in the book's real time while in a way getting a glimpse at her past through the gateway of her thoughts. The Hunger Games was also very detailed so it was like you were there. This book gets a 11/5. Let's see if the Movie can top that.
The Movie:
The Hunger Games Movie had people young and old {including my Grandpa and Dad} lining up on opening night. It was definitely worth the line {Even though my Grandpa, Dad and I weren't in it. Go online ticket sales!} to see this awesome, breath taking flick. Though I was sad there was not as much kissing as there was in the book and I was also disappointed we didn't get to hear Katniss's thoughts, I think this movie rules and if you haven't seen it yet you should. So drag your Mom/Dad/Grandparent/BFF/BF to see this 9/5 rated flick.
Sooooooooooooooooo, in conclusion the Movie ruled but the book was just a little better. If some of the important scenes weren't cut the movie would definitely have won.
Until next time,
Sincerely,
SJ <3
